I strongly support these ballot measures, and will help circulate the petitions to get them on the ballot (I am a California resident), but I am NOT sending any money to an organization with zero transparency.
How is the organization structured? Is it a 501(c)3? Who are the principals? Do the principals draw salaries from these donations?
If you want my money, you need to answer these questions.
Put the info on the web site. Erin, you need to be the face of this, or one of the faces. You need spokespeople out there. Recruit Riley Gaines, recruit Chloe Cole. Have them make youtube videos in support, link to those on the site. Connect with women's-rights groups like WoLF and WDI-USA (Kara Dansky) who can help spread the message. And you need to explain what you're going to do with the money.
Considering the reality of California's unenviable financial situation, you can bet that the realities of all these efforts to accommodate all these deluded children from across the nation will fall well short of the "save and protect trans children" pipe dreams. Once again, the revolutionaries leap forward to break things (in this case, laws to protect the vulnerable), but are lousy at building anything to replace them. So what are the long-term prospects for those youths who run away to California for all this accomodation of their Unicorn dreams? At a certain point, once the do-gooders have gotten all the social virtue preening they can get, and once the effects of all this "trans care" makes a young person too unattractive to serve as a poster child anymore, and once the money runs out (as it will for both the charitable and taxpayer funded programs) said "trans" children will be abandoned to fend for themselves and their chronic ailments by themselves. The only answer to fixing this is the one that people with god fearing morals can't abide by. Yes I do mean those Christian centered, love-conquers-all moral values are actually the problem impediment to solving this conundrum, and I'll explain why.
Parents might score a few legal battles around the country, but that will never do anything to arrest this trend towards a greater trans cultivation of the youth, even if it shows some results at snailing its progress. Like happens now, the trans cult will simply double its efforts to label these concerned parents for the trans hating TERFs its activists have always worked to stamp on them.
Likewise the responsible teachers, doctors and therapists out there who similarly recognize that kids are no longer being PULLED into transitioning by eager peers and relentless encouragement, although that's certainly still a major part of it. It's now all about how the apparatus of the state and many boderline personality parents are PUSHING their children down a path to transition. It's become to the practitioners some new form of cure for these children's unhappiness, that through the gain of a new identity their troubled child will find their elusive happiness on the other side of this journey.
But the answer given against these people who rightly claim that early medica intervention only gives a false promise of happiness, is that they lack any credibility because they can't possibly step into their child's shoes and FEEL the experience of their 'entirely genuine' Gender Dysphoria. So that being the case, how could they possibly know what their kids are actually experiencing? It's like expecting someone with both arms to understand the phenomenon of phantom limb pain for someone who's never actually lost one to removal. Then when they explain that to you they scream TERF in your face lol
No there's only one group powerful enough and so entangled in the whole debate, strong enough to actually get people to realize the massive manipulation and subterfuge being meeted out by these enablers to PUSH vulnerable children into believing this falsehood as a solution. Of course, the biggest hindrance is this same group's autistic nature which renders them utterly incapable of being very effective at the methods they'll need to employ to get the trans enablers to back off. Of course you must know who I'm talking about by now,

They're the only group close enough to the situation who's actually gone through the meat grinder to emerge with a clear understanding of where it all went wrong and how they were misled by false promises.
But their current hope of changing the situation through protests and lawsuits is literally a fool's errand because it won't do anything to change the zeal of the Trans Pushers. Those people view detrans as never having being true trans people at all, so they couldn't be expected to know what the real victims of gender dysphoria go through. So they dismiss both the experiences of these people and their own culpability in pusheing them into believing that the only solution to their unhappiness was to mutilate themselves. They'll never agree to actually genuflect on themselves if it means the possibility of admitting they may have hurt someone with their ideological push.
So if they'll never lose that devotion to their religious trans like dogma, how do you get them to stop PUSHING it? Well this is where Christian sensibilities don't allow for the next obvious course of action to occur because the only way to halt the movement is to get the pushers to live in fear of their own creation.
And that's going to mean that the detransitioners will need to find among them their own Audrey Hale (look up what she did) to open up the floodgates to a new kind of protest of the variety which Conservatives are always loathe to acknowledge is actually very effective because it's the illegal kind. But once those sluice gates get opened, it can only work to force these trans pushers to reevaluate their actions if it means that continuing them must lead to their own lives being placed at risk. Because this isn't TERF parents and activists they'd be fighting against now, but their own laboratory creations. They're Dr. Frankenstein and their own monster has turned on them. The same ones they interact with on a daily basis are now a potential suicide bomber coming straight for them. And that can include teachers lounges, gender affirming therapists and especially narcissistic parents who the detrans kids know pushed them into swapping genders just for their own gratification and increased social standing among their peers.
The Detrans kids can prove to be the Trans Pushers worst nightmare if they can only find an Audrey Hale among their number to lead the way.
For the record, I'm not for violence, but I will absolutely understand why their anger drove them to do it. I won't blame these kids or find them guilty in a court of law if I sit as a juror.
